Depicting the bittersweet experience of love & loss as well as suggesting that love is what you make of it. The anchor & chain are intended to symbolize the security of steadfast loyalty in stormy seas and that which keeps you from becoming aimlessly adrift. The arrow is love's tool of capture and the weeping tear symbolizes the pain of loss. The suspended ring demonstrates the promise of commitment. The skull is the symbol of the end of us all and the reminder of living in the present. This skull looks like it belongs in a Mexican whorehouse on the Day of the Dead. I would wear it as a necklace around my neck and the first prostitute I see, I would give it to her and tell her to look at it while doing her business, as this is the prettiest thing she will ever see - in a Mexican Whorehouse on the Day of the Dead.

I would take this skull on a date to the telecommunications black hole that is my neighborhood. Here we would get lost in time and flirt with all the radioactive waste that lay under the grassy hills currently disguised as a park. Afterwards we would go to another place that exists only through man-made needs where we would watch sheep tend to the cities weeds along the shoreline. It will be heaven.
