The most noticeable trait of just about every skull you see is the lack of eyes. Making a skull out of nothing but eyes is just as hilarious to me as it is ingenious. The addition of the actual eyes steps the laugh factor up a notch. The only thing better than this would be to see all of the eyes moving around together, which I might get to see personally next weekend in Richmond at the Skull Appreciation Day event. After seeing this and other glass etchings it led me down the road to joining others in this craft. My preferred method of etching is to use a stencil because I fall well shy of the Skull Master's level skull creativity. I am still impressed to this day when I see how Noah "painted" the etching cream to produce this negative space skull. Light cast though creates the illuminated face that lights up a room with it's deadly glow. Thanks (again and again) for the inspiration, Noah!

p.s.- You can still get your own official Skull-A-Day etched pint glass, or other custom glasses at my store. I am firstly a proud American, so seeing the states of my country formed into a skull touches a special place in my heart. The first piece amazed me in the time that it probably took to arrange them to the perfect shape. Then Noah went and did it again to include all 50 states. After that he topped it all off by creating a 9ft. tall version cut from wood for his skull exhibition After Life. The progression of this piece has taken on a life of it's own and you can even help that by sporting a t-shirt with this design as well. What impresses me most is that in all of my googling for skullusions it seems that Noah is one of the few to have used live models. The setting for his photo had to include perfect placement of stiil objects AND the models to acheive the desired effect. Kudos to all three of them for putting together a smiply wonderful skullusion.

**Flashback Friday was a weekly countdown of the fan selected top 52 skulls of Skull-A-Day 1.0. The lines are skewed just enough to make your eyes see the skull yet it has real depth and looks almost 3D(depending on your altered state of mind). This would obviously make a great album cover for any stoner rock band, but Noah beat them to the punch for his League of Space Pirates album. This design was also crafted into a variety of sweaters made by Sibling London. With that said, let me quote the dimwit Beavis when I say, "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE IS COOL!" Noah got it right with this combination. I'm sure a skull of fire came up as an idea somewhere in the brainstorming stages of the original year, and Noah came up with a great way to acheive the look with the matches. It seems that the two blogs have a lot of overlapping fans. We all love Terry's art here at Skull-A-Day so you can imagine my extreme pleasure the day that Noah posted this beauty. Like a tale straight from the mind of Scorsese, Mustard has had enough of Ketchup's popularity and the unwanted attention from the fast food moguls is enough to make the condiment family pull the plug on the pretty boy of the bunch. No more late night dips with the French fries, no more cameo appearances in the fancy sauces that he loved to lavish in.

Terry's ingenuity in making everyday objects come to life is a strong rival to the Skull Master's ability to create skulls out of just about anything. Like two powerful minds melding from different points of the spectrum, the Bent Objects Skull brings out the best in blog creativity. Plus, a skull painted in ketchup is just the right color for the gruesome bloodiness that most people expect in skull artworks so you know it's a winner. Be sure to check out the original post for a close up detail shot of the actual ketchup skull here.

**Flashback Friday was a weekly countdown of the fan selected top 52 skulls of Skull-A-Day 1.0. I know that Noah created this pinstripe skull digitally, but that is only because of the time and patience that the painter must have in order to acheive near perfection. The ability to maintain such crisp detail, and to create a portrait with mere single wide brush strokes amazes me. I'd love to be able to learn this skill myself, but more than likely I'll just hire someone with experience to apply this pinstripe skull to some kind of future ride of mine. Maybe the gas tank of some kind of 2 wheeled vehicle...perhaps.

**Flashback Friday was a weekly countdown of the fan selected top 52 skulls of Skull-A-Day 1.0. I truly admire anyone with the ability to take random shards and turn them into creatively crafted scenes and designs. Stained glass looks great lit and unlit and can even be displayed in front of a regular window in case you have too many skull art pieces hanging on your walls already. I fully intend on trying my hand at this someday so thanks again to the Skull Master for the inspiration.

**Flashback Friday was a weekly countdown of the fan selected top 52 skulls of Skull-A-Day 1.0. If it weren't for the generosity of the Skull Master then I might not have ever been able to branch out to create Tatman Glass. This simple stencil has been used in so many different ways that it has to be one of my all time favorites of the original 365.25. I don't have time enough to post every instance that it has been used and posted on our site, but I'd guess the number would be in the hundreds. That's a true statement to popular longevity.

**Flashback Friday was a weekly countdown of the fan selected top 52 skulls of Skull-A-Day 1.0.
