Sculpted Pottery Clay, Unfired (Approx. 12" x 5.5" x 7"). Once I have a chance to fire this I'll post a new image. It is potentially functional, but we'll see if it survives without cracking.
Very cool and well done. Reminds me of Richard Notkin. The man ate and breathed ceramic skulls for about 20 years. http://www.ceramicstoday.com/potw/notkin.htm
So is that what the kids in pottery class are calling it these days?
ReplyDeleteWatch out your teacher doesn't fill the spout in with slip.

I cant wait to see this fired! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteNow all you need is a cup shaped like the lower jaw!
ReplyDeleteGreat work as always.
Kim & Terry: Good suggestions, I definitely want to do cups now!
ReplyDeleteTheDarkHarlequin: I'd love to, but the only thing I can afford to make right now are T-shirts and stickers! Maybe one day.
I'm hearing the song "I'm a little teaskull..." sung in a minor key.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything you can't do??? That's wonderful.

When you get done with you tea set you will need to make some skull shaped scones to go with #37 and have a tea party.
ReplyDeleteOh my. Add my names to the chorus of people who want to BUY this. SO LOVELY.
ReplyDeleteEvery morning I think, What on earth will he come up with next? And every afternoon you do NOT disappoint.
