Throwback Thursday: United Skull of America

On day 10 of my original Skull-A-Day year I made a skull out of the 48 continental United States, a couple of years later I made an updated version out of all 50 states. Today I gave a poster of that version of The United Skull of America to William Fox Elementary school as part of a 5th grade graduation speech I gave this morning! Illustrated Skulls

Dave the Chimp from Europe sent us a couple of skull items he has completed. He said: "The first are skulls drawn with my left hand while recovering from a dislocated right shoulder (skateboarding injury! yay!) and the second piece is a skull made from ghosts, my take on the Damien Hirst 'For TheLove Of God' ".

Street Anatomy and Skull-A-Day have banned together to bring you FaceOff, a skull infused show opening on May 31, 2013, celebrating Skull Appreciation Day. Vanessa Ruiz and Noah Scalin are curating the show, and have created this amazing show poster using the concept of the show, digitally fusing together the skull artwork of two artists. Since people have been so excited about this poster and want one of their own, we are giving away one FaceOff poster to one lucky fan! To make this giveaway even more awesome, Noah and Vanessa will SIGN the poster!

PRIZE INFO: 1 Poster from the FaceOff show, signed by Noah Scalin and Vanessa Ruiz. The poster measures 11" wide by 17" tall and is printed on extra thick 100# gloss paper. The poster will be signed a the show opening on May 31, 2013 and shipped to the winner afterwards.

Skulledelic Poster

My Skulledelic design is now available on a limited edition silkscreen poster available only from Krause Gallery in NYC!

Skull Appreciation Day Posters!

We recently printed up a bunch of posters for the first annual international Skull Appreciation Day event in Richmond, Virginia on the backs of recycled brown grocery bags to put up around town. The response was so positive that we decided to do a small run of archival prints for sale!

This two-color screenprinted poster is 6.125" x 17.5" (15.55 cm x 44.45 cm) on recycled PCF acid-free 100# cover stock. It is signed, numbered, and limited to only 100 pieces.
