37. Tea Time Skull

Tea leaves arranged with a chopstick. Reading an article about tea this morning inspired today's skull. I love tea (and yes these leaves will get used to make a lovely cup of skull tea, they're Fair Trade Organic English Breakfast if you're wondering).

p.s. Hello to the new readers who discovered this site through Make/Craft!

  1. WOW, what you're doing is really cool, and a great way to kick start some creative motivation. Now I'm looking around my office and trying to figure out what I can turn into a skull...uh-oh, I think I scared the dog...

  3. It's really cool that this idea prompts us to look for skulls in our environment, prompts us to come up with our own daily what-ever, and for me, makes me look forward to the next installment...

  5. English Breakfast! Good call a nice robust BLACK tea specially blended to go with milk and sugar.

I know a bookstore up in DC where you can get some sugar to go with that tea.

All you need now is some skull non-dairy creamer.

You might be interested to see this origami version. I saw it in person at an origami conference in San Francisco in 1997. It's tricky to describe but this page does pretty well:

  9. Great concept. I've been collecting (but not creating) skulls for a little while: Astroboy, Pac-Man, a skull motorcycle helmet, etc. But your project is so much more encompassing. Nicely done!
