Thanks guys! It actually took way longer to make this than I expected (almost 3 hours!). But it ended up being a very satisfying object, even better in person than it photographed.
I know this is an old post, but I was going back through all my bookmarks and found a folder of sites I'd bookmarked but never looked through properly, and found this page. Anyway, a really long story short, sitting to my left is a newspaper and masking tape skull I made this morning. I call mine Mr Polly.
Very nice!
