111. New Skull Times

Cut Newspaper at a Cafe on 2nd Ave., NYC. Oddly enough this one actually did elicit some (amused) responses by folks walking by.

  1. New Yorkers actually commented? Are you sure they weren't tourists? You're amazing...you're making skulls while traveling. Yay! I was afraid I'd be having withdrawal symptoms.

  2. Hmm I feel compelled to do something similar in Sydney city, just to see how the Sydney-siders react.

About a year ago, the Free Hugs Campaign received some interesting attention, including from the police! There were copious news articles and there are also videos on YouTube.

I might have some time for such shenanigans during the Summer.

  3. Interestingly, free hugs is creepy while skulls are fun.

In a more innocent world it would be the other way around...

  6. I agree with anonymous (if their name is, indeed, anonymous, it might be a pseudonym) - free hugs is creepy, and skulls are not. I'm not worried that skulls are trying to cop a feel. I *would* be worried if skulls tried to hug me, though.
