Been playing with the font most of the day. Why are the umlauts not little skulls. Was it just overkill? (Pun intended)

    ReplyDelete
  19. How do I get this into open office writer?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  25. PERFECT for October!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm sort of confused - I can download it and it opens in a viewable file, but how do I actually put it into Word or something?

    ReplyDelete
  27. ok, this question has not been answered yet. to use in word you have to install into windows first. find instructions here

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HA010947421033.aspx?pid=CL100636481033

sorry, i don't know html so i can't make the link that way. once you install it into windows then it will be available in all the programs.

    Sweet!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ok, my attempt at a link didn't work. Just go to the control panel and click fonts. copy and paste the file into the fonts folder and it should be available when you use just about any program. In fact i am using it now with firefox but when the comment is posted it reverts back to the default text for the website. :-(

  35. Thanks, I can never have enough fonts!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Awesome! Works great even in my restricted corporate environment!

Note: font looks a bit indistinct on a smaller LCD monitor but looks awesome when printed!

  37. FYI for your font developer: the font contains 3 tables (LTSH, hdmx and VDMX) that are all calculated incorrectly. They just need to be re-cached, which your font software should be able to take care of. Also, this font probably does not need these tables, and as they are not required for TT or OT, you could jsut eliminate them.

You probably won't see a problem from this issue, but some PC Word uses could get odd spacing issues in rare cases.

  38. Hey Jason, Thanks for the heads-up. So far no one has mentioned any problems, but I asked Mark (who did the programming) to fix the things you mentioned. He was able to get rid of the last 2 tables, but he was a loss on the LTSH. I've gone ahead and replaced the online files with the new ones he made, but if you feel like fixing the last one feel free to do so and send it along!

    ReplyDelete
  39. P.S. Mark says he's happy to make the last change if someone'll talk him through it. FYI he's using FontLab for Mac.

  40. You dudes are alright. Thanks.

  51. This is so cool! It took a few tries to download but I figured it out! You have to open your program files to download it in your font file - maybe you should explain how to do it because if you just do a staight download you can't use it. I love skulls and skeletons - this is so awesome! THANKS!
