Carved Matzo (Matza, Matzah, Matzoh, etc.) Bread (6in x 7in [15cm x 18cm]). If you're not familiar with this item you can learn about it
here. It's a little early for this, but I found it in the markdown bin of a local grocery store yesterday, which I guess means it must be nearly a year old!

ReplyDeleteAs a New Yorker, I have to say I laughed my ass off at this line.
On a different note, I can't believe you were able to carve matzoh without it completely crumbling to dust. You've got one light touch, my friend

Thanks, now i want motzah ball soup.
ReplyDeleteoy vey!
Oy! Now that's a tasty lookin' skull. TOASTY!
ReplyDeletei reminds me of a coffee filter....used of course.
ReplyDeletebut it's bread...props! What fun!
I agree, a light touch, because you'd like an old matzah would be pretty crispy. Oh wait, if it was in a damp place all year, it'd be soggy. In any case, I love this skull.
ReplyDeletea year old? my RE teacher had a box of these in her cupboard dated 1997 or something XD
ReplyDeleteHow in the world did you manage the fine details, Noah? Wow! That's some patience and skill.
ReplyDeleteMatzo crackers are kinda like saltines and will last almost forever when kept dry.
Two paws up!
As an Australian, I had to read the Wiki link! :D
ReplyDeleteMatzo looks tasty, I want to eat this skull with yoghurt dip. Mmm.
I think this is my favorite one yet.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to show my son (8, and one of two Jewish kids at school- the other one being his sister)
This one brought a grin to my face! I could really go for some matzo skull soup...
ReplyDeleteps. I'm still lurking around Skull-A-Day. Also collecting things to send in. Keep it up; never a dull moment here!
I <3 Skull-A-Day
It's not necessarily that old - us crazy Jews actually eat this stuff just for the fun of it all year long. For sport, you might say. Really, it's only good if you're crumbling it into some matzoh ball soup, but if that doesn't cure whatever ails you NOTHING WILL.
