  4. Let's pick a lesser known Halloween chill out song. "Leaves in the River" by Seawolf is about two people who meet on Halloween. Closest thing to a Halloween love song I've ever come across.

  13. Hmmm, I can't say I listen to much music that features sculls. The only 2 that come to mind... are THRILLER.. but I suppose those are zombies. And the early mickey mouse cartoon that had the dancing skeletons. Man I feel old. Even older now that I realize I'd pass those totally cool earphones on to my teenage son.

  57. My fave Halloween song is Haunted House by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. Used to listen to it all the time when I was little. Lyrics below:

I just moved in my new house today

Moving was hard but I got squared away
When bells starting rings and chains rattled loud
I knew I'd moved in a haunted house
Still I made up my mind to stay
Nothing was a-gonna drive me away
When I seen something that give me the creeps
Had one big eye and two big feet
I stood right there and I did the freeze
It did the stroll right up to me
Made a noise with its feet that sounded like a drum
Said "You gonna be here when the morning comes?"
"Say yes, I'll be here when the morning comes
I'll be right here, I ain't gonna run
I bought this house, now I am boss
Ain't no haint's gonna run me off"

In my kitchen my stove was a blazing hot
Coffee was a-boiling in the pot
Grease had melted in my hand (pan?)
I had a hunk of meat in my hand
From out of space there sat a man
On the hot stove with the pots and pans
"Say that's hot" I began to shout
He drank the hot coffee right from the spout
He ate the raw meat right from my hand
Drank the hot grease from the frying pan
And said to me "You better run and don't be here
    When the morning comes"
Say yes I'll be here when the morning comes
I'll be right here now, I ain't gonna run
I bought this house now I am boss
Ain't no haint's gonna run me off.

The first one that came to mind was "Falling to Pieces" by Faith No More. The video clip is full of eyeballs, paint, body parts, pets, and x-ray shots of Mike Patton's skull!

Also, "Skullstorm" by Old Man Gloom is awesome.

And for something less sludgy, "Your Skull Is Red" by Team Sleep.

Oh, and Arch Enemy are on their way out to Australia soon, so I should add "Skeleton Dance".

    Heck boy, ain't it grand?
I'm the overlord of the underworld
    Cause I hold Horror's Hand
In the land of the dead
    I'm darkside royalty
I'm foreign out in the underground
And you can't take that from me
Whoa! (whoa) Whoa! (whoa) Whoa! (whoa)
    Oow! Oow! Oow! Oow! Oow!
Cerberus my lap dog is loyal as can be
My bed is made of skulls; I'm in the lap of luxury
I've got a Dragon's Blood jacuzzi; the Gorgons think it's cool
And a seven-headed Hydra livin' in my swimmin' pool
In the land of the dead
    Heck boy, ain't it grand?
I'm the overlord of the underworld
    Cause I hold Horror's Hand
In the land of the dead
