[Flashback Friday] 346. Bokeh Skull

Flashback Friday is a weekly countdown of the fan selected top 52 skulls of Skull-A-Day 1.0. Each week I'll be posting an original skull along with some additional commentary in order from lowest to highest rated, with the #1 skull appearing in the last week of year 3 of the project...

#40: 346. Bokeh Skull

I learned about the bokeh technique from a fan of the project and even though I didn't really have the right lens to do it properly, I thought the end result was fairly successful. These shots were taken at the top of Church Hill, here in Richmond, Virginia. The images are even more appropriate if you know about the train tunnel that runs under the hill. If you're interested in making your own bokeh photos, there are good step-by-step instructions HERE.
