I think a favorite food would be any thick creamy chowder... something that sticks to your ribs.
ReplyDeleteblack truffle squid ink risotto would be the best bet
ReplyDeleteI gotta think that a skull would like some ham on the bone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ly4c6tu5o8Q&feature=related
ReplyDeleteHead cheese.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go with a "Deadguy Ale" from Rogue brewery. Hard to resist something that's got your picture on the bottle.
ReplyDeletea lagniappe of a tiny square of your own liver. wrapped in the gooseflesh skin of your dead grandmother's upper arm. grilled. served on a tiny pool of suicidal blood with a spear of fresh rosemary stabbed in the top.
ReplyDeleteA skull's favorite food is brains. Because really, isn't that everybody's favorite food?
ReplyDeleteThat mug is awesome!
ReplyDeleteA skull's favorite food would be meat. Meat on a stick would be grand but you see the difficulty in handling the stick. So just meat that is lovely and brown on the outside. Second choice would be a nice marrow bone slow cooked with red sauce.
Beer.
ReplyDeleteA skeleton walks into a bar and orders a beer. And a mop.
And that IS an awesome mug. Been following Chris' work on etsy for a couple of years now. Very talented man.

ReplyDeletewell, clearly, according to the skeleton in The Last Unicorn, wine. He chugged that shit like nobody's business.
ReplyDeleteThat skull would be loving some nice cheesy beery rarebit, for dipping of broccoli and sourdough. adam.burninator@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteLobster :)
ReplyDeleteMost of the skulls I know really love Marshmallow Peep Bunnies, but you have to leave them out for a couple of days or they are too smooshy. A favorite skull joke is to bite off the ears and go around holding it up and saying "What? What?" You know cuz the Bunnies can't hear without their ears. I think the skulls get some kind of weird self-deprecating delight out of it, not having any ears themselves. Maybe it's the irony of it, I don't know... I don't always get skull humor.
ReplyDeleteI think a skull's favorite beverage would be a thick creamy soy milkshake, preferably chocolate. He could sip it through a straw, so the no-arms thing wouldn't be a hassle, and he would like that it was vegan because he's seen too much meat eaten off his own poor bones!!!
ReplyDeleteA giant T-bone steak and a frosty brew poured directly into his cranial cavity.
ReplyDeleteA skull's favorite would be jolly rogers (jolly ranchers).
ReplyDeleteCorned beef and Cabbage for sure... skull doesn't have to worry about farts! lol
ReplyDeleteapples of course

hmm favorite food of a skull I am thinking fried squash. hmm maybe it is because that is my favorite to. The drink would have to be some thing like mad dog to warm him up a little. oh my email is crazecapy@att.net
ReplyDeleteRack of lamb!
ReplyDeleteLove the skull mug!
ReplyDeleteI've always found skulls are partial to candy corn. But it would be just my luck to find the one skull with a totally different palate. And I'd be out running for a fresh green salad or some other nonsense.
Blood pudding and a Bloody Mary.
ReplyDeleteApple pie; without a doubt.
ReplyDeletea skull's favorite food HAS to be chainsaw lubricant. helps keep you smiling, but unlike vaseline it isn't chunky or too thick, and you never have to worry about drying out in the summer. morbid but... that little dude looks like he's pretty good friends with leatherface. jussayin'.
ReplyDeleteconsidering you are what you eat, I gotta go with bone soup. As for the beverage, it would have to be milk for calcium, warm, but not hot. hot milk would be a bad choice!
ReplyDeleteI believe skulls would enjoy a corndog on a stick because it's vaguely familiar (& Delicious!).
ReplyDeletethere is a specific wine - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3895939&l=43442b1105&id=608971365 that Cris' skull would drink : )
ReplyDeleteas for vittles -- http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3895957&l=101fced0aa&id=608971365

I think that a mice drink might be dragon's blood... something super sweet and sugary, and red (of course)!
ReplyDeleteOsso bucco
ReplyDeletePumpkin Pie. The dollop of whipped cream gets them every time.
ReplyDeleteI think a skull would like to drink beer, beer, and more beer. But it always goes straight their head.
ReplyDeletespendy aged tequila.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking sushi. Spicy Tuna and a Dragon Roll. One must use the bone carved chopsticks...of course.
ReplyDeleteskulls don't have to worry about their weight, so they're definitely down with Luther burgers.
ReplyDeletei wanna say it'd have to be chewing gum till he got a stomach.
ReplyDeleteTongue !
ReplyDeleteI believe that a skull would really love to eat owl brains so that he could remain old and wise.......obviously
ReplyDeletecandy & coffee ☠
ReplyDeletepeanut m&m's
ReplyDeleteI think a skull's favorite drink would be milk. After all, he needs to keep his bones nice and healthy! (of course, when he feels saucy it'd be a White Russian instead)

If I were a skull, I would prefer Prosciutto Di Parma because of how beautifully it would drape over the features of my face and highlight the characteristics of my personality. At gatherings, party goers can dine off of the flesh of my face until the bony structure is revealed, and my true nature can be exposed in full view.
ReplyDeleteweiners
ReplyDeletebiscuits with black pepper gravy ...most def. simple yet tasty, and it seems fitting.
