Day of the Dead Catrina

"Ashley painted her face and made her own headband and veil for a costume to the Texas Renaissance Festival."

Catrinas are one of my favorite images of Day of the Dead. I can see the Sylvia Ji inspiration in eye and nose style. I like that Ashley added jewels to decorate her forehead and cheeks. The use of the Mums and lace veil adds more beauty and a bit of mystery to her.
