250. Crosskull Puzzle

Functional Crossword Puzzle.

UPDATE: Missing clues/numbers have been added and typo fixed!

You can download a print ready PDF HERE.
I've never written a crossword before so apologies for some of the more obscure words and bizarre combinations. It was tricky to strike a balance between proper crossword form and keeping it looking like a skull. Hopefully it's not too hard (or easy!). The first person to e-mail me a correctly filled out puzzle will win a prize! I'll post the answers after we have a winner.

UPDATE: We have a winner! Congratulations to Linty who was the first person to solve the entire thing on the first try!

If you're stumped the answers are now HERE.

  6. Lost Moai: that was my problem to. i can make 58 across make sense or 45 down make sense, but it seems not both. I'm not sure...

  7. Sorry 58 across is a fairly odd construction and includes an uncommon word. It probably needs a better clue. It helps if you add a comma before the last word and say it with a British accent!

  15. Even if I would have gotten everything else right, I wouldn't have found the Hotrods - even if I knew this expression before seeing the posted answers. They don't seem very ecological.
