Now, I apologize up front for I'm about to be a pooper-head here. I know you are probably a very busy dude and you have lots of other things you have to do each day besides making skulls. I just can't help thinking, when I see stuff lain about in skull formation, "Why didn't he use those objects to make the skull in 3D?" I especially felt that way today with the swabs.

Since you were so kind about how you phrased it Smashing Blouse, I will answer your question. Mostly it's a time consideration. Since I still have a full-time business to run (selling skull T-shirts isn't keeping a roof over my head)I try to pick projects that are relatively simple for the weekdays (3-4 hours to complete). And, unless it's small, 3-D work is generally more time consuming than the 2-D work.

ReplyDeleteEwwww. I HATE cotton swabs. Even fresh, clean, out-of-the-box, they give me the creeps. Musta had a bad experience with one in my childhood. This would NOT be welcome in my house!
