Cut & Folded Paper (skull 5.5in x 10in [14cm x 25cm]). I'm definitely not an experienced paper engineer (and this is definitely more than a one day task) so this is really more of a paper sculpture than a truly functional pop-up piece.
UPDATE: Per request here is a PDF of the pattern I made for the 3 pieces used. You'll have to play around with placement on the surface you attached it to since I did that freehand. As always be sure to send me photos of whatever you make with it!

This is actually a comment from Ryan (age 7) It looks like a pop-up from a book, for real. It is good!
if you got it to be functional, or just wanted someone else to try, you could post a pdf of your cuts. I'd like to try and make this myself.
I second the pdf request...this thing looks awesome.
and my desk faces a corner, so it'd be perfect to mount in the corner and have stare at me all the time.
and here i was so proud of myself for making my boyfriend a birthday card with a "pop-up" present box inside (consisting of one measly rectangle of paper)... Noah, you've put me to shame. ;)
(but really, excellent job!)
I love this one....I was going to put a very "wrong" comment but I'll reserve it.
Sending you what I made... opened in Adobe® Illustrator; enlarged to fill tabloid sized sheet; added red brush strokes; printed on off white glossy card stock; trimmed and mounted with double-sided tape on 2 sheets of black tabloid sized card stock. VOILĂ!
HAPPY HALLOWE'EN!
So exquisite. I am a lover of pop up cards and was so thrilled to discover this beauty. Thanks a ton for the pattern.Sure appreciate it.

So I have printed and cut out all the pieces for this project and my only question is how do we/I know where to position all the pieces I can't seen to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Kim Robinson
Sorry it was something I just made up on the spot, you'll have to play around with it to get the right placement. Good luck Kim!
Ok thank you will do.
