DEADutantes Dolls

Melanie Nord Monsees, of Poconos, PA, created these DEADutantes dolls. Their name is a play on debutantes. Debutantes are Southern ladies (age 16-21) from wealthy families, who are presented as eligible for marriage to wealthy gentlemen. They have a debutante ball where they wear white and fancy dresses, just like a wedding dress. There are similar ceremonies all around the world.
