J.E. Heilbronner aka BlueStar Ravencougar, created this skull painting. It's interesting to see a skull with only the spine, and no additional anatomy. With the color flecks and abstract background, perhaps this is a futuristic skull and is drifting in some unknown dimension. Perhaps I just watch too much sci-fi.

Man in the Skull
Lauren Shearsm from Cincinnati sent us this painting she created last year. "I'm an apprenticing tattoo artist and have an obsession with skulls."
I love the idea of someone walking up a stair case, to access information in your brain. I fell like that is what happens every morning when I get up early. Someone has to turn on the lights and programing inside me, for me to function. It also reminds me of "Dreamcatcher" (I think this is right), where one of the characters has a spiral staircase in his subconscious. I think all the lights are on in mine today.
I snagged this full image from her Deviant Art page.
