"Very Large" Skull Painting

Mel Rudgley is here from a land down under with this very large and ornate skull painting.

Very large indeed!  Mel didn't include the dimensions of this piece, but judging from the angle of the pic and the fact that it looks like it's resting on a chair I'm gonna guess it is "very" large.  Just like with tattoos, the bigger the better.  Thanks for not letting limitations rule your creativity, Mel!

Oversized Skull

Mel Rudgley from Sydney, Australia, is back with this painting she created using left over Dulux house paint and framed in reclaimed timber. It now hangs above her bed. Her home is now filled with oversized skulls. That seems like my house now. Ever since joining Skull-A-Day, I've amassed a large collection of skull artwork. Nesting Doll Skull

Today's skull is the keeper of a diverse set of hand painted Russian dolls from Mel Rudgley in Australia.

The virgin Mary skull is great all by it's self, but this whole set is a wonderful collection. The group is suggestive of how we should all invite variety into our lives. Plus the snowman made me laugh. Thanks again, Mel!

Made-up Skulls

Melanie Harris and her sister-in-law Amanda Moore sent this is a photograph taken on Halloween 2011. Melanie said: “We both did our own make-up, hair, and wardrobe and our husbands took the photographs.”



Hollie-Marie from Roswell, GA also showed us herself as a skull from a recent Halloween.

Mel Rudgley from Australia's Sydney's Northern Beaches has stopped by again with a 2m high acrylic painting called "la Paz felicidad amor (peace love happiness)" that has been installed over the fireplace at Deck in Dee Why, NSW.
