Keep sending those pictures in, we always love seeing what our skull hunters find. Anyone is welcomed to participate, it's fun and it's easy. If you see a simulacra skull, photograph it and send those pictures in to our submissions address with a little something about what it is really and maybe a little about you.

Painted Concrete Cranium
Herbert Hoover keeps it simple and abstract with this drizzled(?) paint skull. I'm assuming the canvas is a patch of concrete, which makes a great background against the stark white paint. This kind of reminds me of another "Drizzled Skull" that appeared on our site back in the day. Thanks again for sharing your stuff, Herbert!

Sunday Simulacra - Version 5.52
This week's round of simulacra are some of the toughest around. Being made of hardened material only adds to the fact that these are some stoniest faced simulacra that we may have ever seen....
Jess Sand saw this rough looking figure in the side yard near her old community garden and thought of us. You gotta love the way the plants are growing into it. Excellent find!
And Charlton Yu of Everything Burger rolled across this bumpy faced fellow on his skateboard on the street one day in Downtown Los Angeles. Luckily he went back and snapped a pic for us.
To the victors go the spoils, and we are always pleased to receive the spoils of your skull hunts. That makes us winners because of all of you, who in turn win by getting to see our collection. See how easy it is to spread the skull love! Try it for yourself, I guarantee you'll love the way you feel. Thanks, Jess & Charlton!

Water on Concrete Skull
Gentleman Illustrator Kenneth Botsford Jr. sent us this simple yet infinitely creative method of skull making. "Here is a skull I did with water and a paint brush on concrete."

I love how easy and non-permanent this is. This would be lots of fun to try with my kiddos. It instantly reminded me of a post about "sea tagging" that Noah posted at his ALR blog way back in 2009. Thanks, Kenneth, for another great submission. You can see more skulls and tons of more great illustrations over at his site here (warning: some of his lovely images, as artistically beautiful as they may be, are NSFW).
