Eyeliner Skull

Cuteness comes in all forms, including this little cotton ball with eyeliner skull from Erin Bunting of Huron, OH. She's proving that "inspiration can be found anywhere, even the bathroom". This piece is one of many she's creating for her "A Face A Day" 365 blog.  Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us, Erin!

Buckyball Skull

Long time Skull-A-Day friend, Jay Butler from Richmond, VA made this. He explains, "Fiddling at me desk with these magnetic steel balls called Buckyballs.  Slammed 'em down and the attached arrangement arose!"

I've always liked these type of magnetic balls since the first time I saw them at the Science Museum of Virginia (here in Richmond). They are lots of fun to play with. I used to fiddle with them at my desk instead of doing my homework...which is sort of like Jay fiddling with them at his desk and not doing work. I could never get them to make a necklace or bracelet...maybe one day.

Mirror Ball Skull

This dazzling mirror ball skull is a handmade beauty from Ronn Campbell of Kennewick, WA. He writes, "Made a paper-mâché cast of an existing skull. Filled with a combination of foam and wads of paper-mâché. Ordered the mirror tiles online and started gluing."

Mirror mirror on the skull, who's the life of the party and never dull? You are! This is a great skull that is desperate for attention. All it needs now is a place to hang, some bright lighting, a bunch of wild and crazy Skull-A-Day readers to fulfill it's destiny. Thanks for sharing it, Ronn. Now I need to go break out some disco music.
