Cuteness comes in all forms, including this little cotton ball with eyeliner skull from Erin Bunting of Huron, OH. She's proving that "inspiration can be found anywhere, even the bathroom". This piece is one of many she's creating for her "A Face A Day" 365 blog. Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us, Erin!

White Cotton Skull
Carina Karlsson in Bristol, Virginia sent us a wonderful tale of how this skull came to be. I would never be able to recap the story in all its glory so if you want to know its origin story visit her post about it HERE.

I just can not tell you how awesome this is. For some reason it has never clicked for me that I have this mass of fabric material that ends up in the trash that I could get creative with. Thank you for sharing the process of this creation with us as well as opening our eyes to new art material to get creative with.

Tuesdays With Tatman #21
As we traverse this third year of Skull-A-Day it seems that paths continue to cross past, present, and future lives. Let me take you on a trip through time, through the life of a common product known as cotton. In the past the Skull Master has shown us some of the final products of the life of cotton namely the Cotton Swab Skull and the Cotton Ball Skull. Let me take you further back into the life of these common household items and bring you cotton in it's most primitive form straight from the plant.

I became a real cotton picking fool the day I thought of this skull so now I can't say that I Never Picked Cotton.
Each Tuesday in the 3.0 year will bring a new Tuesday With Tatman. As a tribute to the Skull Master's astounding feat let's all get creative and try something new(and hopefully skull related).
Don't forget to "pick" your costume for this weekend because the "Countdown To Halloween" has only 4 days left.....

See the amazing! Step right up, Step right up, be the first to sample these treats that can be found nowhere else in the world. It all can be yours for the very low price of only $10. As an added bonus I will throw in a ticket to my favorite attraction ‘The Zipper’ be tossed around in a borderline unsafe manner, no other ride you have ever experienced will compare to its frightening creaks and moans at 45 MPH, but best of all- you do it on a full stomach.
The yearly progression of the seasons can be measured with the local carnival’s arrival. In case the cooler nights haven’t signaled it yet, the carnival’s arrival lets us know summer is officially done for another year.
Remember each Monday during the 3.0 year I am posting an original skull design. My weekly offerings are nothing compared to the one-a-day massive project done by the Skullmaster in 1.0, but hopefully you will find some nourishment in these weekly offerings.
