105. (I'm A Little) Teaskull

Sculpted Pottery Clay, Unfired (Approx. 12" x 5.5" x 7"). Once I have a chance to fire this I'll post a new image. It is potentially functional, but we'll see if it survives without cracking.

So is that what the kids in pottery class are calling it these days?

Watch out your teacher doesn't fill the spout in with slip.

Oh! He (it) is so cute! Are you going to glaze it? I would love to see each iteration.

Aww I want a skullpot. Or teaskull. With matching teacups!

Could turn out nice even if it does crack a little!

Hmm, I need a more original comment name.

But I second the other tim's comment -- cracks or no, this will look awesome after it's fired.

Now all you need is a cup shaped like the lower jaw!

Great work as always.

Kim & Terry: Good suggestions, I definitely want to do cups now!

TheDarkHarlequin: I'd love to, but the only thing I can afford to make right now are T-shirts and stickers! Maybe one day.

I'm hearing the song "I'm a little teaskull..." sung in a minor key.

Is there anything you can't do??? That's wonderful.

Very cool and well done. Reminds me of Richard Notkin. The man ate and breathed ceramic skulls for about 20 years.

When you get done with you tea set you will need to make some skull shaped scones to go with #37 and have a tea party.

Oh my. Add my names to the chorus of people who want to BUY this. SO LOVELY.

Every morning I think, What on earth will he come up with next? And every afternoon you do NOT disappoint.
