Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of these two skulls as well as the art of Mike Leemann. This fun drawing from Mike has me wondering if this couple will still include "til death do us part" in their vows. Either way, they are destined to spend an eternity together on paper. Thanks for the submission, Mike!

Wedding Skull
Leslie Engstrom from Bremerton, WA said "I was trying to come up with some concept art for my wedding’s theme, 'Til Death' which, for my husband and I, means ivy and skulls. I especially liked the blue ivy.
Seeing a couple focus on staying committed "Til Death" in a marriage is refreshing in an age of most marriages ending in divorce. The use of ivy makes sense to me, as ivy is very hardy and grows back stronger after being damaged. Marriages can survive the bad times, and when they do the union between the couple can be stronger than before. I hope Leslie and her husband have many wonderful and strong years of marriage together.

[BONUS] Skull Wedding
Back in September of last year Jen, a fan of the site, got in touch asking for help preparing for her skull themed wedding. I made a post asking for suggestions for her and she got a ton of great feedback. Then a couple of weeks ago I got the following e-mail from her:

Are you having or had a skull themed wedding? Share your pictures with us!
Hi,
A long time ago you posted a question about skull weddings for me. Well, I got married! and with skulls!
I made tiny clay skulls and attached them to the invitations. I also used a skull graphic on the invitation and menus. On the escort cards the skulls are actually pins, and almost everyone at the wedding actually put them on!
Here is a link to some of the photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/36800203@N07/sets/72157621956071509/
The photos were taken by Heather Parker.
Thanks for all your help!
Yay for skulls!

Fan Request: Skull Wedding
Hey folks, I got a note from a fan who's looking for some help with her wedding plans and I though maybe you would have some good suggestions. She says:
"my name is jen and i love skulls. i recently came across your book at barnes and noble and fell in love with it! i am getting married next summer and i was wondering if you having any skull wedding ideas? i want to incorporate skulls yet not have anything look halloween-ish... i'm thinking subtle, elegant, yet bad-ass skulls."Leave your suggestions for Jen in the comments to this post and hopefully she'll send in some pictures of the results...
