Let me raise my glass to the reminder that life is fleeting and we must live each day to the fullest for we never know if it will be our last. Cheers!

I think the band Clutch said it best:

"Drink to the dead all you still alive, we shall join them in good time. Should you go crossing that silvery brook, it's best to leap before you look".

A splish of this, a splash of that. A toast to change, for our government has gotten too fat.

“Of all my favorite things to do,
The utmost is to have a brew.
My love grows for my foamy friend,
With each thirst-quenching elbow bend.
Beer’s so frothy, smooth and cold–
It’s paradise–pure liquid gold.
Yes, beer means many things to me…
That’s all for now, I gotta pee!”

Here's to you, here's to me.
A protective vault you'll always be.
You help me chew, and see in 3-D.
Cheers to the best of friends we'll always be!

I love it! When I taught Hamlet this year, I had my students recreate skulls and used your book and blog as inspiration for them. I would love to win the glass and toast them for all of their creativity! I have pics if you'd like...

A head I carry at my side,

A head I carry in my cloak,

A head I carry in my hand,

To drink of Spirits

Decadent

Or bland.

Drink it deep now,

To the ever-grinning one...

Drink it deep now,

With this toast

To the skull,

Now we start the fun!

Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the colors high.
Heave ho,
thieves and beggars,
never shall we die.

The king and his men
stole the queen from her bed
and bound her in her Bones.
The seas be ours
and by the powers
where we will we'll roam.

Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the colors high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
never shall we die.

Drink up me hearties Yo-ho!

Sometimes there's a man... I won't say a hero, 'cause what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man – and I'm talkin' about the Dude here – sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's the Dude. In Los Angeles. And even if he's a lazy man – and the Dude was most certainly that, quite possibly the laziest in Los Angeles County, which would place him high in the runnin' for laziest worldwide – Sometimes there's a man... Sometimes, there's a man. Ah, I lost my train of thought here. But... aw, hell. I done introduced him enough.
