273. The Skull or The Vase

Lathe Turned Aluminum (3in x 4in x 3in [7.6cm x 10cm x 7.6cm]). A huge thanks goes to Philip who was invaluable in the fabrication of this item and spent 10 hours of his day helping me. If you don't see the skulls go HERE for a hint. And here's another view as well (look on the right side)...

If you still don't see skulls, you can get a bigger hint HERE.

As expected from similar pictures, I can see the mirrored profiles, but they don't look like skulls to me. I'm probably missing something more obvious.

Completely awesome! The luster of metal with the subliminal lackluster of death. I hope you can find some black roses to adorn this piece of art.

BTW, kitty, I don't see the skulls looking directly at each other. To me it seems like they're looking up just a tad. Maybe....?

Edit my last remark: they are looking straight at each other, sorry.

you are amazing - that is such a cool skull to be posted on my birthday! I love the subtlety. You're incredible, I want to steal your imagination.

I'm with Kitty. Even with the Bigger Hint, I'm having trouble viewing the skulls. Mebbe I'm too literal?
