I thought I was educated in all things vegetable, but the existence of WHITE eggplant blows my mind!It looks awesome, especially the stalk on its head, like the talons of some bird of prey.
It looks like it could be the skull of Alfalfa from "The Little Rascals".
The reason it's called eggplant in the US (and Australia & Canada too?) is that the ones encountered early on were mostly white like this one!
