329. Skull-Ray

X-Ray Photography. You no longer need to wonder what's on MY mind! Yes, this is an actual x-ray of my own head, as well as a possum skull that came along for the ride. A huge thanks goes out to friend of mine who works with x-ray equipment and very kindly set this up for me. We did a bunch shots of a "phantom skull" (a real skull encased in Lucite, used for practicing on the machines) to work on the layout before before actually x-raying my own head (with the possum skull balanced on top), though it still took 3 shots of myself before we got it exactly right.

I like how your earrings also show up on the x-ray.

Very cool idea.

Does any one else see the 3rd skull in this picture? Between the possum skull and his earrings?

Hells yes! Nice tunnels. I thought you were supposed to take jewellery *out* for x-rays... ;)

Did you have to pay a copay before they would treat you?

i am always amazed at how people's chins look like sharp blades in x-rays.
(at first i thought you had something bizarre, like a trachea piercing ;)
