Flashback Friday is a weekly countdown of the fan selected top 52 skulls of Skull-A-Day 1.0. Each week I'll be posting an original skull along with some additional commentary in order from lowest to highest rated, with the #1 skull appearing in the last week of year 3 of the project...#35:
281. Kneaded Eraskull![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhq-95L-HFtnlLn1nmf2As9cjesPSiheLLKJdQRZgFnYnM0U1TX3ZvVKHjOfkxIud2ju8BIUfFPtPbwgy7g-7gru6pkPZ8yKUkxe9z75PVtgrp3atco7p28lmQ2U0XWBy9xopdX_avdc2ik/s400/skull281.jpg)
I've always enjoyed playing with kneaded erasers when I've used them, they have a terrific tactile quality and it turns out they're a very satisfying sculpting medium to work with as well. The piece is actually hollow, so it fairly delicate, but it has survived and even made an appearance in the Skull-A-Day art show
After Life.
