Flashback Friday is a weekly countdown of the fan selected top 52 skulls of Skull-A-Day 1.0. Each week I'll be posting an original skull along with some additional commentary in order from lowest to highest rated, with the #1 skull appearing in the last week of year 3 of the project...#32:
54. Wood Burning Skull![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEIuIAChQv-RIE6Uix1LEEKVVXeOnZ1vJaxIuf94egU9p4SbrfnSphmN03lbaV6WqSYtpM5b4aVKXn8iLfEE32xg436GWd7qXePxmMVsTQluHjOUQ4b486_v8wHASlbCSghLqHL25rbz0q/s400/skull54.jpg)
Making this piece gave me flashbacks to the very short time I spent as a Cub Scout. One of the few projects I remember us doing was making a wooden note holder (that I think my parents still have). Since they were basically identical we got to put our initials on the bottoms of them with a wood burning tool, not much practice for doing this though.
